"THAT THE TRUTH BE TOLD"

The citizens for Judge Pamela Hill-Veal (Ret.) advocate group was formed by a concerned group of tax paying people who have followed the successful career of Judge Veal. There is no other dedicated public official who takes pride in her profession than Judge Veal, she was appointed to the position of Circuit Court Judge by the Illinois Supreme Court during the November 2004 term, she became an elected judge for the Circuit Court in 2006, and was retained during the 2012 judicial election, for more than 20 years she worked as an educator, litigator and judge.

​The focus of our message is to let the truth be told in reference to the debacle that occurred on May 25, 2007 concerning African American Judge Pamela Hill-Veal and Attorney Allison Smith.  After extensive research, we have found as a group that during  the career as a judge, Pamela Veal has never had any negative complaints filed against her, but after she made a judicial decision regarding Attorney Smith, there has been several negative quotes posted on several internet websites regarding just this one issue.

Usually, when there is a track record of misconduct, it will arise out of several different situations, as we investigated the background Judge Veal we found none, but when we looked at the internet, we found where her character has been brought  into question as to how she rules in her courtroom, therefore causing others to say things like she is unfit to be a judge, we beg to differ because it looks like the same person with a vendetta has posted and had other associates post these repeated offensive remarks about Judge Veal, also during the course of our investigation and research we found documented proof that has not been made public to date, the first piece of information is a letter from Judge Veal's Attorney Lawrence E. Kennon, Esq. to The Honorable Chief Judge Timothy Evans, summarizing the entire chain of events that occurred on May 25, 2007, this letter clearly defines what happened, why it happened and the political motivations behind an attempt to smear a fine, loyal judge like Pamela Hill-Veal.
